Approximately 1-2 months after each community solar credit has been applied to your EPE bill, Solstice will email you an invoice. You pay Solstice at a 10% or 28% fixed discount (depending on income eligibility) for each credit previously applied to your EPE bill.
On your Solstice invoice like the example above, you will find information related to:
- Property details - your property address, property nickname, and utility account number
- Solar farm assignment - the community solar farm your property is assigned to
- Production period - the timeframe when the solar energy associated with the credit was generated by the solar farm; this period may be different than the billing period for your electric usage on your utility bill
- kWh applied - how much energy your share of the solar farm generated that was applied to your utility bill as a credit
- Solstice credit - the credit previously applied to one of your recent utility bills
- Discount - your fixed discount rate
- Solstice charge - the cost of your credit with your discount rate applied
- Savings - your net savings after the credit and Solstice charge have both been applied for the production period, as well as your lifetime savings since you first began receiving credits
Your savings add up over the course of your community solar subscription! You can log in to your Solstice account at app.solstice.us to review your billing history, savings, environmental impact, and more.
