Soon after your share of a community solar farm begins producing energy, you begin receiving solar credits on your monthly ComEd electric bills.
Each credit is applied as a deduction from your electric costs, which helps you save money every month! Though we aim to cover as much of your typical annual electric costs as possible, your monthly credit may not always fully cover what you owe to your utility.
On your ComEd bill like in the sample bill below, you'll find your community solar credit and additional details in the "Renewable Community Supply Details" section. Your credit will also be shown in the "Miscellaneous" section. Please note that if you're enrolled on a community solar with a consolidated billing model, meaning you do not receive bills from both ComEd and Solstice, then the discounted charge for your credit will also be included in both sections.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@solstice.us or 845-853-0768.
