The Illinois Solar For All program promotes equitable access to the solar economy through incentives that help make solar more affordable for income-eligible residents and qualified residents living in environmental justice communities.
If you’re a Solstice customer enrolled in this program, you receive solar credits on your monthly ComEd electric bills that save you up to 50% of your electric costs!
On your ComEd bill, you’ll find your community solar credit and discounted charge for the credit in the “Renewable Community Supply Details” section with the period the solar energy was generated by the farm, the name of your solar farm, and the amount of energy generated. The discounted charge will also be noted in the “Miscellaneous” section.
The sample bill below shows where ComEd provides information related to community solar subscriptions - please note this sample bill does not reflect the discounted charge that will also be included on your bills in the same sections.
By being enrolled in the consolidated billing project, you will receive a credit explainer from Solstice approximately 1-2 months after each credit is applied to your ComEd bill. Credit explainers are statements that detail the credit and charge ComEd previously applied to your bill - they are not invoices.
You can see your billing history, savings, positive environmental impact, and much more by logging in to your Solstice account at app.solstice.us. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@solstice.us or 845-853-0768.
