The Illinois Solar For All program promotes equitable access to the solar economy through incentives that help make solar more affordable for income-eligible residents and qualified residents living in environmental justice communities.
If you’re a Solstice customer who is also enrolled in this program, you receive solar credits on your monthly ComEd electric bills that save you up to 50% on the supply portion of your bill!
On your ComEd bill, you’ll find your community solar credit and a 50% discounted charge for the credit in the “Renewable Community Supply Details” section of your bill along with the name of your solar farm, the period the solar energy was generated by the farm, and the amount generated in kWh. The discounted charge is also noted in the “Miscellaneous” section. Your full community solar savings for the month is applied as a deduction in the “Supply” section of your bill.
An example bill is shown below. Please note your solar farm and generation details will appear differently on your bill.
By being enrolled in the consolidated billing project, you will receive a credit explainer from Solstice approximately 1-2 months after each credit is applied to your ComEd bill. Credit explainers are statements that detail the credit and charge ComEd previously applied to your bill - they are not invoices.
You can see your billing history, savings, positive environmental impact, and much more by logging in to your Solstice account at app.solstice.us. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@solstice.us or 845-853-0768.
