What should I expect if I’m put on a waitlist?

During the enrollment process, you’re put on a waitlist if you’re not eligible to be placed on a solar farm yet. This may happen when our available farms are currently full, if we don’t manage a farm in your utility zone yet, or if your account does not meet a current farm's eligibility requirements.

Customers are put on a waitlist in order, then placed in a queue for an opening. While you wait for your spot, we’ll keep you updated on our progress toward bringing clean energy to everyone in the US.

As spots become available, or new projects open up, we contact waitlisted customers in the order we receive them. Once a spot on a project opens up in your area, we’ll reach out to you with a window to finish enrolling.

Even if you’re on the waitlist, you can spread the benefits of community solar by inviting your friends and family to join Solstice. When they join a Solstice solar farm, they’ll receive a $25 gift card and a discount on their share of energy produced from the farm. You’ll get a $50 gift card for spreading the love too!
